THE CARGO HALL

A light-filled warehouse space located right on the waterfront, it’s easy to see why so many couples fall in love with Cargo Hall. You’re met with a contemporary aesthetic that blends warehouse architecture with concert hall acoustics from the moment you enter the glass-fronted conservatory. To your left, you’ve got an uninterrupted view out over the Yarra River and the city beyond. Sunlight streams in and passersby are privy only to glimpses of the wonder going on inside.

Turning right into the main hall, you’ll discover the wow factor that makes Cargo Hall so exciting. A former docking shed, Cargo Hall features soaring ceilings with grid-like lighting rigs, giving you the immediate sense that this venue is designed to entertain. If you’d thought about bringing a live performance to dazzle your guests during the reception, Cargo Hall is more than adequately prepared!

Gorgeous dark timber floorboards and dark beams and window frames create a structured modern look. This crisp look is balanced with light, romantic drapes pulled all around the venue, allowing plenty of soft sunlight to stream into the venue. Heading over to the left is the spacious bar area that boasts an LED wall that can change colours (perfect for couples with a specific colour scheme!).

Cargo Hall plays host to both ceremonies and receptions, making the most of the flexible space to transform from a gorgeous formal exchange of vows to a high-energy party afterwards.
