Find your way to get to Southbank

By Tram

You can catch the 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 12, 16, 64, 67 or 72 along Swanston St or St Kilda Rd. You can also catch the 70, 75 or 35 along Flinders St and walk across the bridge across the river. No. 58 and No. 96 also run through Southbank.

By Bus

Many Melbourne Bus Link buses run to or through Southbank: No. 302, No. 216, No. 219, No. 220, No. 250, No. 251, No. 253, No. 605, No. 942, No. 944, No. 956, No. 958, No. 970, No. 980.

By Train

Catch any of the metropolitan train lines to Melbourne’s premier train station Flinders St Station. From here it is an easy walk across the river on one of several foot and traffic bridges.

By Car

Southbank can be accessed by four major arterials from the south – Clarendon St, Kings Way,  Sturt St and St Kilda Rd – Alexandra Ave to the east, City Rd to the West and three major arterials from the north – Spencer St, King St and Queensbridge St. 
Southbank has more than 5000 car parking spaces distributed around the area to ensure there is sufficient space for everyone to park.

By Bike

Docklands promotes the use of bicycle riding with about 15km of on-road, off-road and shared paths for riders. The Yarra Trail, Bayside Ride, Capital City Trail and Maribyrnong Trail all run into Docklands. Docklands provides bicycle hoops and drinking fountains throughout the precinct.

By Water

There are many different ways you can get to Southbank via the Yarra River. They include: Ferry, Water Taxi, self-guided boats and kayak/canoe.
